ESCAPE
Escape is a collection of abstracted women caught in the act of longing. Each figure leans toward a city or country that glows in her imagination — Paris, Monaco, London, Milan, Morocco, Tokyo, Greece, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Beirut, Rome. These are not travel posters. They are destinations of the heart.
In a world heavy with turmoil and relentless noise, these women dare to believe in elsewhere. They imagine light where there has been shadow, love where there has been fracture, hope where there has been fatigue. Each place carries its own romantic charge — the promise that a change of landscape might restore rhythm, mercy, grace.
The figures are abstract, their faces unrefined, because they are not portraits of one woman. They are all of us. Holding the ache to leave. The quiet rebellion of believing that somewhere, under different light, life could feel kinder.
