My work tells its story through
layers of paint, the subject’s gaze, and an underlying meaning.
Within those layers are hidden metaphors, fragments of questions, and traces of truths that we often resist. The moth appears, drawn to the light and unsettled in the dark, a reminder of our own restlessness and pull toward clarity. I do not chase answers as much as I wrestle with them, knowing the canvas guards its own meaning.
I hope the work lingers, pressing against memory, stirring recognition,
or sparking a confrontation of your own.
tender acts (30x40) ...did you water the plants is less of a question, more of a reminder: what lasts is not always what shines...
love is riot (30x40) ...it protests, it resists, it reminds us that tenderness can be a rebellion and care can be a weapon...
walk with me (30x40) ...to walk with someone is to listen when the world is loud...if not together, then how do we move forward?
challenge me (24 x 30)
just no (20x24)
bold (30x40) ...a tutu cuts through the ordinary...it's rebellion stitched into fabric...every ruffle a roar, every thread a refusal to shrink.
don't wake the baby (30x40) ...because peace is a rare currency and too easily stolen...
all you need is a billion dollars (30x40) ... tenderness, empathy, love...the kind of currency you cannot counterfeit...
knock 3 times (24x30) ...and when you hear it, you are invited into a larger circle...where belonging is signaled in the most unassuming way...
pass the salt (24x30) ...being offered a place where the meal tastes better because it is shared...to say your portion matters as much as mine...
